There has been a huge buzz about apple bringing iWatch to the Market and almost everyone believed it as a rumor until Bloomarg.com came up with a new report. Bloomberg.com has finally thrown some light on the much discussed apple gadget iWatch which is said to be the next Big thing.
According to a new report by Bloomberg, Apple’s iWatch will be launched later this year and will run iOS which will be reworked to run on the watch instead of choosing iPod nano’s touch OS.
What is iWatch anyway? Well, iWatch is simply a Smart wrist-watch that can connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth and can display phone screen to make calls, SMS and more. Looking at the current Smart watch or mobile Watch Market, there are couple of similar devices available like Sony Smartwatch. The Problem is No one took it seriously, Until apple came up with the Similar device so called “iWatch”. #hype.
The iWatch Project is led by Apple Design chief Jony Ive with his team of 100 design engineers. Reportedly Mr.Jony Ive ordered couple of Nike sports watches for his team to study a few years ago. The team says that the design is important, But Battery life is a major Challenge. The goal is to produce at least 4-5 days battery backup, but the current watch prototypes are apparently only going for 2 days max. Reports Bloomarg.

In terms of features, iWatch will include the potential to make calls, mapping and navigation implementations, as well as health-related features such as pedometer and heart rate monitors.
